Become a Villager at RiverWest Village

Stay independent. Stay connected. Stay in the home and community you love.

Growing older doesn’t mean giving up the life you’ve built. It means having the right support, the right people, and the right connections so you can keep living on your own terms. That’s what we do.

When you become a Villager, you join a warm, trusted community of neighbors who look out for one another. You get practical help when you need it, social connection when you want it, and peace of mind knowing you’re not doing life alone.

What It Means to Be a Villager
It isn’t about giving up independence. It’s about strengthening it.

RiverWest Village members have access to:

Practical Support
Get help with the everyday things that make life easier:

  • Rides to appointments or errands
  • Light home repairs and safety checks
  • Technology help
  • Friendly check‑ins
  • Short‑term support after an illness or procedure

Social Connection
Opportunities to stay active, engaged, and connected:

  • Coffee meetups and social gatherings
  • Educational programs and workshops
  • Interest groups and outings
  • Community events that bring neighbors together

Trusted Service Resources

We regularly gather feedback from members about the professionals they’ve used and trust. Because these services change quickly, we don’t maintain a public list but we’re always happy to share any up‑to‑date recommendations we may have, when you need them.

They may include:

  • Home maintenance services
  • Health and wellness services
  • Financial and legal resources
  • Aging‑in‑place support

Let us know what you need, whenever you need it. If it’s something our volunteers can support, we absolutely will. And you’re always in the driver’s seat.

Why Older Adults Choose RiverWest Village

Because independence matters. You’ve spent years building a life you love. We help you stay in it.

Because connection matters. Loneliness isn’t a given. Community is a choice — and we make it easy.

Because safety and confidence matter. A trusted volunteer, a ride you can count on, a friendly face at the door. It's the small things that make a big difference.

Because you deserve support that feels personal. RiverWest Village is neighbor‑to‑neighbor, not a call center. You’ll know the people helping you, and they’ll know you. Care grows from real relationships built on a shared community.

What the RiverWest Villagers Tell Us

Our members tell us how much RiverWest Village has helped improve their lives:

  • "There are advantages to being older."
  • “I feel safer living alone.”
  • “I’ve made new friends I never expected.”
  • "I can age with this group."
  • “It’s easier to stay active and connected.”
  • “I finally have help I can trust.”

Every story is different but the feeling is the same. Life gets easier, richer, and you're more connected with RiverWest Village.

But You’re Not Signing Up for Services. You’re Joining a Community.
RiverWest Village is part of a national movement helping older adults age confidently in the homes and neighborhoods they love. Becoming a Villager means you’re part of something bigger - a community built on kindness, respect, and mutual support.
