RiverWest Village is a non-profit, member‑driven community that helps older adults stay active, connected, and supported. We provide resources, volunteer help, and social opportunities so neighbors can thrive in their own homes.

Members can:

At RiverWest Village, we believe independence thrives when it’s supported by community. With neighbors helping neighbors, you’ll find friendship, resources, and the confidence to live the life you choose—right where you belong.

RiverWest Village is part of Villages NorthWest which has been developing Villages around the Portland, Oregon region. It's part of the nationwide Village Movement that started in Beacon Hill, Boston more than 20 years ago. Today, there are more than 375 Villages throughout the country.

Villages NW has 10 local chapters in the Portland Metro area, and one along the North Oregon Coast, empower older adults to remain in charge of their lives and flourish as they take on the future together.
